Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Handing complex tax issues faced by US, non-publicly traded entities with extensive operations in Korea


• Identifying and addressing the company’s needs


• Participating in discussions and meetings with Headquarter


• Managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues


• Providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner


• General ledger accounting and work paper preparation


• Monitor/Analyze financial accounting data & Financial statement preparation


• Business and individual tax return preparation


• Withholding tax return for U.S. source income of foreign entities


• Internal audit preparation


• Payroll tax and sales tax return preparation


• Adjusting Entry & Bank Reconciliation


• Other tasks, duties, and projects as assigned

 

 Minimum Qualifications

• Authorized to legally work in the United States


• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with basic knowledge of general accounting


• Minimum 3 years career in Public Accounting Firm


• Possess excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).


• Must have the ability to effectively communicate, in English and Korean, both verbally and in writing


• Passion and fascination for construction


• Responsible, dependable, and takes ownership


• Well-organized, a planner and self-starter


• Attention to detail


• Customer-service orientated


• Team player with strong interpersonal skills


• Proficient with technology


• Positive “can-do” attitude
