Hanwha Convergence USA is seeking a highly-skilled, experienced, and motivated Korean–English Interpreter and Office Administrator to join our growing team for a large-scale manufacturing construction project.
As a Korean-English Interpreter, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate seamless communication between our English speaking project team and cross-functional colleagues. You will ensure that project requirements, expectations, and key information are accurately conveyed. Additionally, you will monitor business needs, track project schedules, develop plans, and ensure timely execution of tasks.
As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing our fast-paced environment, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering a consistently positive customer experience. You will also contribute to improving productivity across various regions while supporting the overall success of the branch. This position offers the opportunity to build influence company-wide.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
[Korean-English Interpreter / 70%]
- Translate documents related to construction management. Including technical documents, drawings, design documents, and communications
- Handling and translation of specialized documents such as construction contracts, specifications, building permits and safety manuals
- Ensure that specific terms, like construction codes or regulatory terms, are consistently translated across all materials.
- Provide simultaneous interpretation at business meetings, and other events
- Supporting other divisions and departments with their language needs
[Office Administrator / 30%]
- Process travel & expense reports
- Maintain vendor relations by delivering excellent customer service via phone and email
- Maintain organized records of all communications, invoices, purchase orders, and more
- Collaborate with vendors, sub-contractors, and customers
- Oversee multiple projects at a time to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met
- Coordinate office supply orders and vender management
- Serve as the initial point of contract for all visitors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or linguistics preferred or equivalent combination of education and experiences
- The ideal candidate would have experience in construction, engineering of high-tech manufacturing facilities or background in construction or engineering
- Minimum five years’ experience in the translation field (Preferred)
- Native fluency in Korean highly preferred
- Fluency in English and Korean
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
