About the Role
Samsung E&C America is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bilingual General Affairs (GA) Assistant to join our landmark Semiconductor Foundry Fab project in Taylor, TX. In this capacity, you will serve as a key coordinator for site operations. The GA Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the field office and site management teams operate at peak efficiency—handling everything from resource procurement and facility management to employee logistics.
Key Responsibilities
· Procurement & Inventory: Manage the purchase and organization of office supplies, safety materials, and essential equipment to ensure zero downtime in site operations.
· Facility & Environment Management: Oversee the office work environment, including the maintenance of office equipment and the replenishment of pantry supplies (water, coffee, etc.).
· Logistics Coordination: Administer employee benefits and logistics, including car rentals and corporate apartment housing.
· Site Maintenance: Coordinate pest control services and general maintenance for both the temporary camp and the active construction site.
· Administrative Support: Organize high-level meetings, business travel, flight arrangements, and catering/cafeteria services.
· Reporting & Governance: Track expenditures and provide comprehensive monthly purchasing reports to senior management.
· Ad-hoc Support: Execute additional administrative tasks as assigned by the manager to support the fast-track project schedule.
Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred.
· Experience: Entry-level to 3 years of experience in administrative or general affairs roles.
· Communication: Native or professional fluency in both English and Korean is required for cross-functional coordination.
· Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with a high attention to detail.
· Adaptability: Ability to maintain a flexible working schedule, including overtime, to support the demands of a fast-track construction project.
· Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in professional settings.
