Position Overview

We are seeking an entry-level technician to join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician specializing in maintaining the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction. The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for assessing the functionality, usability and performance of products, as well as performing periodical spot checks to ensure that products are compliant with applicable regulations. The successful candidate would be familiar with applicable quality tools, methodologies and techniques and will demonstrate a commitment to the development, implementation and enforcement of high standards of quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



Development and utilization of testing and validation techniques to support new and current product testing methods. Maintain calibration/validation schedules. Testing expectations may include, chemistry assays and environmental monitoring in controlled environments.


Work closely with operations and sales personnel to identify and prioritize testing and release requirements.

Troubleshooting logistical and technical problems as they arise in the QC/QA departments.



Communicate with management when problems arise, providing necessary information and assisting in developing viable solutions.



Function as an in-house QC/QA resource to support process and method/process improvement initiatives.


Perform testing as needed in the laboratory to maintain timelines for product disposition.



May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned by supervisor.







Requirements / Experience




· Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.




· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively.




· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.




· Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.




· Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build effective working relationships.




· Proficiency in using proposal management software and Microsoft Office suite.




· Bi-lingual in Korean a plus.




· Office based role in Killeen, Texas.




Compensation

Dongjin Semichem Texas INC (DST) offers a dynamic and challenging work environment with benefits including generous Paid Time Off, Medical, Dental, Life Insurance paid for by the company and 401(k). $10 a day lunch credit on working days.

DST will assist with visa sponsorship if needed and employee agrees to terms.
