Need bilingual (English<Korean) assistants during Samsung conference in Austin
October 13, 2022 - The venue will be the Marriott Renaissance downtown Austin TX
The final client is Samsung, and our intermediate client is a meeting planning company that is organizing the entire conference for Samsung. You and the team will work for Universe Language Solutions. (www.universelanguage.com)
Staff & Tasks required:
Samsung is now requesting 8 bilingual assistants (instead of the original 6), who are fluent in English and Korean, preferably female, to support different areas of the conference:
1) Registration Desk Assistance: The bilingual assistants will help Korean language speakers with the process of registration for the event: getting badges, getting the conference program and answering general registration questions.
2) General Session Assistance: Bilingual assistants will scan badges at the entrance of the General Session, to make sure only registered individuals gain access into the General Session ballroom. They will also support answering questions about the General Sessions and about the conference in general.
3) Breakout Sessions Assistance: Bilingual assistants will scan badges at the entrance of the General Session, to make sure only registered individuals gain access into the different Break-out Session conference rooms. They will also support answering questions about the Breakout Sessions and about the conference in general.
The organizer will provide all the information to the assistants ahead of time, as well as will show them how to use the scanners to scan badges.
We will need headshots, name and contact info of the candidates
The uniform is dark denim jeans and vans/converse style tennis shoes we will be providing the shirts.
Schedule - Salary - Payment:
The schedule will be 2 - 10:30 PM. T
he salary is $30/hr for 8.5 hrs of work.
We will pay via Zelle, Paypal or similar on the day after the event concludes (14th October)
Staff will be responsible for bringing their own meals/snacks/water
