2021 KSEA 주관 수학경시대회를 안내드립니다.

이번 행사는 미국 전역에서 online으로 진행됩니다. 학년별 성적 우수 학생에게는 지부장상 및 대외상 (주지사상, 시장상 및 총영사상)을 수여할 수 있도록 준비하고 있습니다. 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드립니다. 지부와 별개로 National level에서 우수학생선발도 합니다. 전국 단위 상위 입상자를 대상으로 Live Competition 방식을 도입해 우수학생을 선정합니다. 자세한 내용은 아래 “Live National Competition”을 참조해 주시기 바랍니다.

Event Dates:

• Grades 4-8: April 24, 2021 (Saturday) 8 am to 5 pm in each time zone


• Grades 9-11: April 25, 2021 (Sunday) 8 am to 5 pm in each time zone

Registration:

• March 22, 2021 ~ April 15, 2021 (선착순 학년별 200명 으로 제한합니다)

• 로그인시 등록하신 이메일 주소로 로그인합니다. 하여 각 수험생은 다른 이메일 주소를 사용하여 등록하셔야 합니다.

Registration fee:

• $20 (sibling discount $10)

 Student Orientation/Test Login:

• April 17, 2021

Test Format:

• Part 1: 20 multiple-choice questions


• Part 2: 5 free response questions with integer-valued answers.

Proctoring:

• The exams will be offered asynchronously with the parent’s consent to proctor students. Contestants also will be required to log in to the NMC HQ Proctoring System using a smart phone.

Live National Competition:

• For Part 3, top ten performing students from the written tests of Part 1 and 2, will be invited for a live competition on the date of the award ceremony. The contestants will be given five short exam questions, and their performances will be evaluated for their correct answers as well the time taken to answer them. The top three best performing students will be selected for NMC National Awards. This competition will be open to the public and will be held in sequence for each grade.
