I have 2 bedrooms for international homestay students in a safe neighborhood in NW Austin. My quiet and peaceful home is a great, stress-free environment for serious students. I have 2 small Scottish terrier dogs that love people. My homestay is completely smoke-free.
The basic room rental fee gives you:
private room with a large window comfortable bed, linens, blankets, pillows & towels
work desk with chair, desk lamp shared bathroom with other student
FREE Wifi and flat screen HDTV utilities (electricity, water, gas for heat)
use of washer and dryer, refrigerator use of swim spa (big hot tub)
use of the living room, kitchen, back yard use of bicycle during your stay
use of neighborhood swimming pool and tennis courts
Most of my guests choose to add the meals/transportation package. For an additional fee, I will provide continental breakfast and dinner, Monday through Friday. Also, instead of taking the bus and walking to the school in the mornings, I will personally drive you to the UT and ESL schools area in the mornings, Tuesday through Friday, as my work schedule permits. During the morning busy time, it is about 55 minutes by bus, with 1 transfer, to the UT and ESL school campus. If you go with me in the car in the mornings, it takes about 45 minutes. You have the option to return with me by car in the afternoon or return on the bus (30 minutes).

Because we want a family environment, host and guests work together to keep the home and outdoor environment clean. My homestay is for people 18 years or older, non-smokers, who like dogs. Minimum stay is 2 months. Airport pickup or transportation to the homestay on the day of check-in is available for $75.
A deposit of $400 reserves the room for you, then is applied to your 2nd month’s rent. If you cancel your reservation, the deposit is non-refundable. The 1st month’s rent, any partial-month rent (prorated), transportation fee, and a $200 security deposit are due upon arrival. Reserve the room through PayPal with a credit card or your PayPal account.
