Job Description: Control Systems Engineer/Specialist

 Role and Responsibilities

SIT Tech Co., LTD. is a looking for a Control Systems Engineer/Specialist for control and automation system projects in semiconductor manufacturing, water treatment, and other industrial and manufacturing industries for our Austin, TX location.  Ideal candidate is someone who is flexible and driven to get the job done with an intense attention to detail. Travel is expected to be 10% or less.

As a valued team member you will be involved with the specification, programming, development, and integration of control and automation systems based upon customer requirements.  This work will also involves developing procedures, training materials, and field support for projects.  Opportunity exists to lead projects and interface directly with customers, vendors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited university preferred, but not required.


• Understands all aspects of control system design, engineering, implementation, and support of PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA systems in addition to Instrumentation and Industrial IT networks


• Knowledge of low voltage 120VAC and 24VDC systems and components used in control and automation applications


• Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)


• Programming skills in C/C++ and/or Visual Basic are preferred


• Experience with programming platforms including Studio 5000, SIMATIC STEP 7, FactoryTalk View, WinCC, WinCC OA, and/or Wonderware Intouch as well as AutoCAD Electrical is preferred


• Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities


• Solid communication and interpersonal skills are crucial


• Self-motivated and Innovative individual able to work well with others


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with attention to detail are essential
