Job Title: Transportation Specialist @ Grand Prairie, TX
Contract: 1 year + extension or direct hire
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate transportation operation by tracking freight from origin to destination
• Communicate closely with customers to ensure smooth operation without issues and service satisfaction
• Proactively identify and assess a solution to cost incurrence such as demurrage, detention and work for smooth resolution to protect SDS and its customers
• Monitor carrier performance continually and evaluate, with feedback provided on a routine basis
• Communicate with carriers & associated vendors on a frequent and consistent basis
• Process container returns, bobtail decisions related to overall logistics operation for proper handling of business
• Other responsibilities as required by the Site Manager

Requirements:
• 3+ years operation or logistics related relevant experience
• Strong understanding of freight & logistics systems
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High school GED required
• Ability to effectively work under the pressure of deadlines in a multi-task, production environment
• Detail oriented, with the ability to thoroughly research, analyze and develop solutions to complex processing and workflow issues
• Ability to quickly grasp situational issues and derive solutions to problems
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel with v-lookups and pivot tables
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills including effective written and verbal communication skills to communicate with various levels of the organization

• 화물 출발지부터 도착지까지 운송 관리 및 조율
• 고객과 소통하여 원활한 운영 및 서비스 만족도 유지
• 추가 비용 발생 요인(Demurrage, Detention 등) 사전 파악 및 해결
• 운송사 성과 모니터링 및 정기 피드백 제공
• 운송사 및 협력업체와 정기적 커뮤니케이션 수행
• 컨테이너 반납 및 밥테일 관련 의사결정 처리
• Site Manager 요청 업무 수행

자격 요건 (Requirements/Qualifications):
• 물류/운영 관련 경력 3년 이상
• 화물 및 물류 시스템에 대한 높은 이해도
• 한국어/영어 이중 언어 가능자 우대
• 학사 학위 소지자 우대 (고등학교 졸업 또는 GED 필수)
• 다중 업무 및 생산 환경에서 마감 기한 압박 속에서도 효과적으로 업무 수행 가능자
• 세부 사항에 강하며, 복잡한 프로세스 및 업무 흐름 문제를 철저히 조사·분석하고 해결 방안을 도출할 수 있는 능력
• 상황을 빠르게 파악하고 문제 해결 방안을 도출하는 능력
• Microsoft Excel 숙련자 (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table 활용 가능자)
• 조직 내 다양한 직급과 원활히 소통할 수 있는 뛰어난 발표력, 커뮤니케이션 능력 및 조직 관리 능력 (우수한 문서 및 구두 의사소통 능력 포함)
