Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:

 

• Will insure that all software is up to date on all User Trial recipients’ devices.


• Gathering data from User Trial users to research its user patterns in pre-launched devices.


• Conducting surveys to perform in-depth analysis on user behavior of using certain features on new product.


• Train users prior to the beginning of each trial to guide them into a right direction. (Issue reporting, log capturing, s/w updating and etc.)


• Coordinate frequent meetings with User Trial end-users during the project to maintain good relationships with trial participants.


• Ensuring appropriate phone setup per software quality assurance testing best practices before the execution of a trial.


• Monitor, track, and coordinate distribution and return of physical test samples, documentation, SIM cards, chargers, etc.


• Will ensure User Trial recipients are added to the appropriate trial programs through the website and maintain participation requirements.


• Will coordinate/facilitate communication between end-users and UT Project Engineers for defect items requiring additional follow-up and/or end-user feedback.


• Perform inventory management on local physical units (i.e. test samples, documentation, SIM cards, chargers, etc.)


• Monitor & control end-user participation to meet project KPI and business goals.


• Responsible for coordinating local, on-site recruitment process for potential User Trial end-users.


• Project schedule and task tracking in coordination with UT Project Engineers to ensure collaborative task prioritization and completion.

 

Background/Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:

 

• A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related electronics technical training from four-year college, university or heavy related on the job training at a significant level


• Should have 0-2 years experiences in the telecom industry.


• Strong communication skill for demonstrations and conducting end-user training.


• Ability to perform root cause analysis, decision analysis and establish process mapping.


• Comprehensive use of Microsoft Office applications operating in a Windows + LAN/WAN environment.

 

Necessary Skills/Attributes for this position the following skills and abilities must be demonstrated at a proficient level:

• The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with multiples levels within the company.


• Able to determine course of action for the completion of objectives and tasks with limited instruction.


• Must be able to influence others in acceptance and approval while also providing technical clarification. High degree of technical aptitude in software testing principles.


• Ability to understand all relevant technologies in current market and evolving market place. (WCDMA, GSM, CDMA, LTE)


• Demonstrated English language competency in both written and oral communication modes for both internal and external communications.


• The ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, prepare spreadsheets, charts, graphs and tables of information and to plan and prioritize multiple work assignments.


• Ability to communicate with internal/external users in professional manner to maintain a good relationship with them to secure strong user pool for the User Trial Project.


• The demonstrated ability to solve problems involving highly diverse conditions requiring creativity to search for solutions among learned concepts.Exposed to situations where only broad and general guidelines for problem solving.


• Passion for learning and upkeep of evolving technologies. Having an in-depth understanding on how technology influences the development of culture and society.

 

 

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions: The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:

 

• Operate PC and product test equipment more than 75% of work time in an alternating sedentary and highly mobile position.


• Lift, move, or adjust general test equipment, boxes, supplies, materials or products weighing up to 50 pounds using proper materials handling equipment and procedures.


• High level of visual acuity, numeric/character distinction and moderate color distinction for accurate test equipment operation, for information analysis and error recognition.


• High hand/finger dexterity with fine motor coordination skills to perform electronic component repair work.


• Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with electronic component test, assembly and repair work including test equipment, testing devices, technician hand tools, cables, etc; first aid kit is available and prescription safety glasses are required in certain test areas.


• Under general supervision where general policies govern, daily activities are only sometimes monitored and performance is measured by effective results. Errors are difficult to detect and may adversely affect outside relationships. Access to sensitive confidential data.


• Ability to work and manage projects in a multi-cultural working environment.
