• As audio engineer for the Business PC & Services Commercial Managed IT organization, responsible for all execution aspects of commercial notebook, mobile workstation, and tablet/convertible designs including schematic/layout review, audio design optimization, debugging & resolving audio failures, ensuring proper testing to ensure Skype certification, working with BIOS/FW/driver support organizations as well as our suppliers and ODMs.

Responsibility:

As an Electrical Hardware Engineer I, this candidate would be an entry level Electrical Hardware Architect within the CMIT Architecture team. This team is responsible for all HP commercial notebook/x360/detachable/mobileworkstation products. This candidate would investigate & develop new technologies via proof of concept work that follows our CMIT Architecture innovation funnel process. This architect would also work with fellow architects to investigate and define the system level hardware architecture for CMIT platforms. They would be required to gain an in depth understanding of the overall computer system architecture and expected to develop over time expertise in certain sub-system or technology areas of focus. This candidate may also participate in architecture work that would support mechanical and materials architecture teams. This architect may also travel within US &/or overseas as needed to support architecture work.

Qualifications:

New grad, BS/MS in Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
