Application for the 2021 KAGC Congressional Fellowship
Since 2017, 14 offices of members of Congress on both sides of the aisle and in both chambers have hosted 16 KAGC Congressional Fellows as an intern for the summer. Applicants must be pre-selected by KAGC for final consideration by a hosting member's office, but while in this program, it is not the participating student's responsibility to find an internship position on her/his/their own.
Each Fellow serves for 10 weeks* in the assigned office. While Fellows take an unpaid position and work remotely, they will receive a stipend up to $2,000 from KAGC. Additionally, educational, social, and mentorial support is provided throughout the program. Due to the safety concerns, all internships will be conducted remotely this summer.
*subject to change according to the circumstances of each hosting office
