We are looking for the most talented self-motivated innovators, who will contribute to a whole range of next-generation services, shaping the experiences of hundreds of millions of NAVER and LINE users worldwide.

The NAVER Summer Internship Program is designed to provide a three-month, all-in-one environment to carry out cutting-edge research and development, backed by a diverse array of real-world data and abundant GPUs, together with guidance from experienced research engineers.

Program Overview
Duration: June 1, 2018 - August 31, 2018 (exact dates are negotiable)
Location: NAVER Green Factory, Seongnam, South Korea

* Interviews will be arranged on a first-come first-served basis

Clova

• Major areas: advanced AI technology research and development including speech recognition/synthesis, vision, finance


• Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
  Implementation skills using deep learning library such as Tensorflow, PyTorch,etc.
  Strong front-end or back-end development capabilities using C++, Python, Java, Node.js
  (CUDA, MPI experiences are preferred)
  Above all, your passion for deep learning is all we need

 

 

Webtoon

• Major areas: content creation using image analysis / generation / manipulation / restoration


• Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
  Implementation skills for deep learning algorithms such as CNN and RNN
  General Programming skills in Java, Python or Javascript

 

 

Search

• Major areas: dialogue management, knowledge extraction, natural language understanding, question and answering


• Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
  More than 2 year experiences in natural language processing
  (deep learning, reinforcement learning and machine learning skills are preferred)
  master's degree in natural language processing or equivalent R&D field

 

 

Audio Contents ​Services and Digital Content Stores (Music, Audio Clip, Nstore, Vlive store)

• Major areas: audio content services such as Naver Music, Audio Clip and digital content stores such as Nstore, Vlive Store​, and Wave


• Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
  Backend development in Java experiences are preferred
  Android/iOS app development in Java/Swift/C++ experiences are preferred
  Junior, Senior, or Graduate in Computer Science or related fields

 

Platform Services using Container Technology (Shipdock)

• Major areas: platform services using Container technology


• Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
  An interest in solving problems related to OS, network, storage
  Container and golang related development experiences are preferred
  Open Source Contribution experiences are preferred
  Junior, Senior, or Graduate in Computer Science or related fields

 

 

Multidevice Synchronization System (Kaleido)

• Major areas: multidevice synchronization system for Naver Whale browser, PLUG, maps


• Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
  Implementation skills in Java
  An interest in mass distribution system
  Junior, Senior, or Graduate in Computer Science or related fields
