We are a premiere test-prep and academic tutoring center specializing in college admissions. At the heart of our educational philosophy is helping each student achieve his or her full potential through individualized attention, primarily in the forms of 1-on-1 tutoring/counseling, customized academic plans, and small classes. We have already helped numerous students in the Austin area improve their grades and test scores, in addition to assisting them with gaining admission to the nation's most selective universities, including Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, and MIT.

Position:Instructor / Academic Tutor

Location: Austin

Start Date: ASAP for the spring semester and May for summer employment

Positions Available for Following Subjects:

• SAT Reading/Writing/Essay


• ACT English/Reading/Essay


• AP/IB English


• English as Second Language (ESL)


• Social Studies: World Geography, World History, U.S. History, European History


• Foreign Languages (Especially Spanish)


• SAT Math


• ACT Science/Math


• AP Calculus AB/BC


• AP Physics


• AP Bio


• AP Chem & Organic Chem.


• AP Statistics

Responsibilities:

• Teach students 1:1 and/or small classes (3-15 students) with B2A curricula


• Monitor academic progress for students and articulate progress to parents


• Collaborate with staff and directors to meet student goals


• Assist in developing curricula and assessments as needed


• Attend periodic meetings for professional development

Qualifications:

• Prior teaching/tutoring experience in the subject you wish to teach preferred


• Test prep (SAT/ACT/AP/IB) teaching or test grading experience is a bonus


• Must love teaching teenagers and children


• Recent college graduates, graduate students, and teachers are welcome!


• Must be available during the entire summer program (June 3rd - August 9th) and attend orientations in May
